About this job:

The specific requirements of each assignment will vary. The role may include but is not limited to the following tasks:

• To assist in crowd management. This includes using your training to prevent and report any over-crowding
• Monitoring the actions and movements of customers to ensure the safe and secure operation of the event
• Aware of operating procedures, site layout and emergency procedures
• Immediately report any hazards or security risks you may identify before and during the course of your shift
• Highly aware of surroundings and ability to spot signs of overcrowding, distressed persons and suspicious behavior
• If necessary to provide assistance with any emergency evacuations in a calm and professional manor
• Be active in ensuring the health and well-being of all customers


• As a Steward you will represent the event to the wider community and respect and courtesy must be maintained at all times to all others involved
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a large team
• Previous Event Stewarding experience beneficial and any Customer Focus work experience will be ideal
• A professional appearance
• A flexible approach to work
• Be able to work alone or as part of a team
• Have excellent communication skills
